I work with: A number of workers compensation insurers, including Allianz Australia Insurance Limited.
Trends in my area: Our clients are talking about the impact of COVID-19 mandatory vaccination requirements upon the workers compensation claims arena. We have been providing assistance to our insurer clients, employers and brokers to address the new challenges arising in this area.
I predict the next big thing will be: The wholesale rewrite of the WA workers compensation legislation, which is currently underway, will have a huge impact. We are working with our clients to prepare for these changes.
My proudest achievement: It would still have to be the day I was first admitted!
Outside work, you’ll find me: Spending time with my children and my (very small, very fluffy) dogs.
If I wasn’t a lawyer, I would be: Definitely a vet.
Lessons I learnt over the past year: Try to never lose your sense of humour!
