Insurance Joe has more than 23 years' experience advising insurers on large and complex claims under CTP and statutory classes of insurance. He also advises on commercial insurance and indemnity claims, and property damage.
Joe is well known for his practical approach to claims, advocacy skills and technical knowledge in all aspects of claims. Joe regularly appears as a CARS advocate, and on occasions against senior counsel.
Joe works primarily with insurers in the CTP and general liability space.
Experience
- Acting for insurers in many leading decisions in the Court of Appeal and High Court.
- Manages special projects for insurers.
- Successfully defending several multi-million dollar claims involving significant liability and quantum disputes.
- Regularly performing training programs and reviews on a wide range of claims management, settlement strategies, liability and quantum assessments.
