Hall & Wilcox has advised global travel-tech leader FlixBus on its entry into the Australian market.
FlixBus, headquartered in Munich, Germany, already operates a network of over 4000 buses across 44 countries, serving more than 6800 destinations. The company’s expansion into Australia marks a significant milestone in its global growth strategy, following successful launches in Europe, the United States, Canada, India, and most recently Mexico.
Hall & Wilcox advised FlixBus on all Australian legal aspects of the market entry, including corporate structuring, federal and regional regulatory compliance, and commercial arrangements with local operators. The multi-disciplinary team, led by Oliver Jankowsky and Wolfgang Babeck included Jacqui Barrett, Anthony Bradica, James Deady, Mark Lebbon, Matt McDonald, Catie Moore, Kristopher Kunasingam, Tia Cooper, Alexandra Gallagher and Gloria Lim.
