Katelyn is a lawyer in the Statutory Insurance NSW team at Hall & Wilcox, with experience in workers compensation, work injury damages/common law and commerical dispute resolution.
During her graduate program with Hall & Wilcox, Katelyn worked broadly across Commerical Dispute Resolution, Statutory Insurance, Property & Projects, and Corporate & Commerical teams before settling in the NSW Workers Compensation team in Newcastle.
She now provides advice and representation for clients in litigated and non-litigated workers compensation and work injury damages matters. She has experience advising and representing NSW workers compensation managed fund scheme agents, treasury managed fund agents and the Workers Compensation Nominal Insurer.
- Provide advice in both litigated and non-litigaged advice matters including but not limited to statutory and work injury damages claims, including psychological injury claims, hearing loss claims, general workplace injury claims, workplace motor vehicle accident claims and lead agent matters on behalf of multiple scheme agents.
- Acting in litigiated workers compensation matters involving multiple parties and insurers in the NSW District Court and Supreme Court, as well as representing clients at the Personal Injury Commission teleconferences, conciliations, and arbitrations.
- Regularly provides training to clients and presentations on legislative developments.
