Conrad has a broad range of commercial experience, particularly in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, restructures and business succession, insolvency, and Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) compliance.

Conrad has particular experience in advising international clients on the acquisition and establishment of Australian businesses (including compliance with Australia’s foreign investments regime).

Conrad’s experience and technical expertise in commercial law also enables him to provide advice to clients in a variety of industries over a broad range of matters relevant to their day to day operations including business, asset and share acquisitions and disposals, shareholder agreements, joint venturing, and the documentation of operational arrangement such as supply and distribution agreements.

Conrad enjoys working closely with clients and their other advisors to find the most commercial means of achieving the client’s business objectives.

In 2005, Conrad received the Victorian Law Foundation’s Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award for his work in the pro bono legal sector. He is also recognised by Justice Connect for his ongoing pro bono work.

Prior to commencing at Hall & Wilcox, Conrad was a lawyer with a boutique Melbourne commercial firm and worked with a number of community legal sector organisations.
