Stacey has over 15 years’ post admission experience in the area of defendant insurance and personal injuries law. Her experience includes the defence of workers’ compensation, public and product liability matters with a particular focus on proactive claims management in the workers’ compensation area. She has extensive experience in representing clients at compulsory conferences, informal conferences and mediation.

Stacey works closely with brokers, claims managers, underwriters and insureds and understands the needs of an insurance client, having been an in-house lawyer for a major Australian insurer for a number of years. Her experience includes the provision of specialist advice to local and international insurers on indemnity, liability and quantum, third party contribution and general case management.

Over the years, Stacey has gained great satisfaction and personal growth from mentoring junior lawyers to develop to their full potential professionally. She has always been passionate about knowledge sharing and regularly provides industry specific training and seminars in the workers’ compensation law area.
