Robert is a general insurance litigation lawyer who specialises in public and products liability claims under common law and statutory schemes in Queensland.

Robert advises insureds and their domestic and international insurers on claims involving complex policy response, contract and liability issues, as well as sensitive quantum considerations.


  • Advising on complex multi-party claims involving fatalities which include contentious contractual indemnity and insurance obligation issues.
  • Acting for commercial and residential occupiers, and a range of mining, building and construction, manufacturing, transport, recreational, retail, childcare and equine insureds and their insurers in relation to claims for personal injuries.
  • Acting for educational institutions and their insurers in relation to historical sexual and physical abuse claims.
