Practices

Caitlin’s practice incorporates statutory claims involving both physical and psychological injuries, litigated matters and non-litigated advice work which often involves technical or novel legal issues. She regularly appears in the NSW Personal Injury Commission.

Caitlin has experience advising and representing self-insurers, NSW workers compensation managed fund scheme agents, treasury managed fund agents and the Workers Compensation Nominal Insurer (icare).

Having previously worked for a large NSW workers compensation insurer, Caitlin has practical experience in, and a deep understanding of the claims management process, as well as the impact that claims can have on insurance premiums. Caitlin is also performing part time secondments as a consultant in the self-insured workers compensation team of a major Australian company and a NSW government department.

Caitlin regularly assists with the preparation and presentation of seminars and provides formal and informal training to self-insurers and scheme agents on management of workers compensation liability, management of workers compensation claims and legal developments in NSW workers compensation.
