Sarah has more than 5 years’ experience in workplace injury compensation, including defending claims brought pursuant to the Accident Compensation Act 1985 (Vic) and the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic). Prior to practicing law, Sarah was a registered Physiotherapist and Ambulance Paramedic and worked for many years in these roles. She is able to apply her specialised medical knowledge and skills to successfully negotiate resolutions and achieve positive outcomes for her clients.
Experience
- Providing advice to clients on a range of matters including statutory benefits, impairment benefits, Medical Panel referrals and common law matters under the Accident Compensation Act 1985 and the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act
- Representing clients in negotitations, statutory conferences and civil proceedings at the Magistrates’ Court, County Court and Supreme Court.
- Successfully defending judical reviews and appeals in the Supreme Court.
