Renelyn has over 10 year’s post-admission experience in insurance and has a solid foundation across a range of personal injuries matters in Queensland and New South Wales.

Her past experience has included acting on behalf of plaintiffs in workers' compensation claims, public liability claims and compulsory third party claims giving her great insights into the plaintiff experience in the claims process.

Renelyn has a special interest in dispute resolution, having completed postgraduate studies, Master of Applied Law in Dispute Resolution, and is focused on assisting clients in resolving disputes either formally through the court during litigation or informally by participating in alternative dispute resolution.

Renelyn's commitment goes beyond client work as an active participant in the firm's pro bono program, including volunteering for Bayside Community Legal Service, LawRight, Queensland Advocacy for Inclusion; and pro bono referral programs, and community initiatives, including the Australian Business and Community Network.

Renelyn is assisting Bayside Community Legal Service with regular phone and in person appointments in various areas of law including civil law, family law, criminal and traffic, wills and estate, and QCAT and court processes. 

Renelyn always looks for ways to enhance her skills and expand her knowledge including attending Essential Guide to Family Law Practice and Procedure in 2024 to assist her in her pro bono work.
