
Nigel Clark is the firm's Global Relations Consultant in London and supports Hall & Wilcox's key strategic initiative to strengthen our international referral relationships, particularly with the UK, US and other global law firms operating out of London and the wider UK legal market. He is a member of the firm's International and UK practices.
A qualified lawyer in both Australia and the UK, Nigel spent almost 20 years advising on cross border finance, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions. He has lived and worked in Australia, Asia and Europe. Nigel started his career as a solicitor in the City of London and was an associate and equity partner with Minter Ellison in Sydney, London, Beijing and Hong Kong, specialising in cross-border referrals. More recently, Nigel has built and led two fast-growth, legal consultancy businesses. He co-founded and managed Peregrine Law in the UK, which was acquired by Nexa in January 2020, where he served as CEO until 2024 (he remains on the board as a non-executive shareholder director).
As well as the UK, Nigel has sat on company boards in the Netherlands, Germany, Singapore and on US LLCs. In Australia, he is currently an independent non-executive director for Collins Foods Limited, which employs over 20,000 people in its KFC and Taco Bell operations across three countries.
