Melanie is the national head of Hall & Wilcox’s Business Development, Marketing & Communications team. She has over 20 years’ experience advising on professional services marketing.
Melanie manages a team of business development, marketing and communications specialists. The team brings together a broad set of skills and experience across client engagement, branding and design, bid management, copywriting, event strategy and planning, digital marketing and media relations.
At Hall & Wilcox, Melanie and the team are responsible for:
- Client and industry group planning and strategy, including client listening and client service and consistency programs.
- Tenders, proposals, and capability statements that support retaining clients and winning new work.
- Branding, advertising, media relations and all firm external communication and collateral that builds our profile in the market.
- Management of our digital presence: website, blogs, apps and social media platforms.
- Reviewing, formatting and distribution of articles, case updates and thought leadership / opinion pieces.
- Submissions for international legal directories and industry awards.
- Graphic design.
- Client and major staff event management.
