
Larissa has over seven year’s experience in the workers compensation industry. She has advised both plaintiffs and defendants, and also completed a six-month secondment with the iCare Dispute Resolution Team. Her diverse experience has provided her with a unique perspective and deep understanding of workers compensation law.
Larissa advises and represents NSW workers compensation insurer’s in workers compensation and work injury damages matters. She has extensive experience managing psychological and physical injury claims, in both litigated and non-litigated matters. She is passionate about providing strategic advice and obtaining best possible outcomes for her clients.
Experience
- Provide advice in both litigated and non-litigaged advice matters including but not limited to statutory and work injury damages claims, including psychological injury claims, hearing loss claims, exempt worker claims, and general workplace injury claims.
- Acting for Nominal Insurer and Treasury Managed Fund scheme agents, and self-insured parties.
- Working together with insurers and their insured employers to obtain best possible outcomes.
- Successfully representing clients in the Personal Injury Commission.
- Reviewing insurer decisions under section 287A of the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998.
