Joshua advises on matters involving contractual breaches, shareholder disputes, real property issues, and debt claims. Joshua regularly appears for clients in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia. His experience extends to most Australian jurisdictions and includes managing cross-border litigation.
In addition to his litigation work, Joshua advises professionals who are the subject of regulatory investigation, including by ASIC, the ACCC, the Tax Practitioners Board and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

- Advising employees of a publicly listed on an application to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for immunity in relation cartel conduct.
- Acting for an officer of The Star in relation to a civil penalty proceeding commenced by the Australian Securities Investments Commission in the Federal Court of Australia, arising out of allegations of money laundering and fraud at Star Sydney.
- Acting for a publicly listed transport and logistics company in successfully defending a contract dispute at both first instance in the District Court of New South Wales, and later in the New South Wales Court of Appeal.
- Acting for international airline operators in relation to claims for personal injury, contractual disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct and damage to cargo.
- Acting for a publicly listed healthcare supplier in relation to a Federal Court of Australia proceeding concerning allegations of misuse of confidential information.
- Advising a director of a high net worth family company in relation to an oppression claim brought in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
- Acting for a start up company and its major investor in a proceeding in the Supreme Court of Victoria concerning allegations by a founder of undue influence and unconscionable conduct in a separation agreement.
