Holly is an experienced litigation lawyer and insurance specialist.
She has particular expertise in defending personal injury claims and Work Health and Safety prosecutions on behalf of insureds/insurers and acting for interested parties in Coronial inquiries. Her main clients are sporting organisations, recreational activity providers, volunteer community groups and building/construction companies. Most of her work centres around terrible accidents, and as such, Holly approaches clients with empathy and delivers careful and considerate advice.
That said, Holly’s practice is broad. She has achieved good results for clients in consumer law disputes (including class actions), defamation proceedings and discrimination complaints.
Holly is a confident and capable advocate. She has appeared in countless listings in the Supreme Courts of NSW, ACT, Victoria and Northern Territory, as well as listings in the Federal Court, NCAT and VCAT.
Finally, Holly understands insurance and the broader industry sector in which she operates. Her depth of knowledge has been greatly assisted by three secondments to a general insurance Specialist Claims Manager and a secondment to an Australian Coverholder (specialising in sport risks).
