She has worked with a wide range of insured and high-deductible businesses and organisations, including construction contractors, waste management and transport providers, commercial cleaners, commercial and residential building managers and agents, occupiers, strata schemes, sports and recreational service providers, aged care providers, labour hire providers and ‘host employers’ of labour hire workers, and non-government school organisations.

Erin is a committee member of the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA) Young Professionals in NSW. She was the inaugural co-chair for Hall & Wilcox’s Reconciliation Action Plan Committee, as well as Hall & Wilcox Pride.
- Advising insurers on policy interpretation, coverage disputes, dual insurance claims and recovery.
- Managing claims on behalf of cleaning contractors and centre managers/owners of large retail and commercial premises, including involving intentional torts and fatalities of lawful invitees.
- Defending a recreational boat owner after an onboard explosion led to burn injuries to multiple people.
- Defending a head contractor after a subcontractor suffered a traumatic brain injury on a residential construction site after falling through a penetration.
- Defending a waste services provider in relation to a claim brought by an independent subcontractor in suspicious circumstances, including uncovering evidence of malingering and fraudulent conduct.
- Advising an insurer in relation to a multi-million property damage claim arising from an arson attack on a warehouse premises.
- Advising on compensation to relative and nervous shock claims made by dependants following fatal vehicle and railway accidents involving their spouses.
- Acting for an insurer and its insured homeowner in relation to a successful recovery action against a ‘deemed manufacturer’ of a lithium battery that exploded, causing a significant house fire.
