Brieanna has worked in personal injury law for the last 10 years. She provides advice and representation for clients regarding workers compensation claims to ensure they obtain the best possible outcome.
Brieanna works with NSW based insurers and employers including NSW managed fund and treasury managed fund workers compensation insurers and self insurers in both litigated and non-litigated advice matters.
She acts on behalf of insurers and employers in relation to a wide variety of workers' compensation claims including but not limited to statutory claims, work injury damages claims, including psychological injury claims, hearing loss claims, general workplace injury claims, workplace motor vehicle accident claims, coal miner claims and lead agent matters on behalf of multiple scheme agents.
Brieanna also provides strategic advice to employers and insurers with respect to injury and claims management, with a view to avoiding litigation if possible and otherwise reducing employers' and insurers’ potential liability.
- Acting for WorkCover scheme agents, self-insured parties and specialised insurers.
- Regularly providing training to clients, presentations on legislative developments and drafting publications about recent changes in the law.
- Successfully representing clients at the Personal Injury Commission, District and Supreme Courts.
