Andrew practices in personal injury litigation on behalf of self insurers, employers, and WorkSafe Victoria and its agents, managing claims brought under the Accident Compensation Act 1985 (Vic) and the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic).
Andrew has a strong knowledge of the breadth of issues involved in personal injury management across both statutory and common law claims. His understanding of the Victorian scheme, and particularly his appreciation of the demands upon self insurers navigating in that scheme, enables him to achieve consistently strong results that meet his client’s objectives.
His awareness of scheme issues generally led to the concept behind Hall & Wilcox’s award-winning RecoverEase platform, designed to help clients nationally identify potential recovery claims.
