Leading independent business law firm, Hall & Wilcox, has confirmed an additional 37 team members will be joining the firm this month, all coming from Sparke Helmore.
The new team members join the six partners announced in April 2015. Those partners are Grant Galvin, Simon Morgan, Rhett Slocombe, Daniel Stoddart, Nicholas Studdert and Joanna Turnbull.
The new team will comprise:
- Special counsel – Nathan Kennedy, Joe Mancuso and Tanya Smart.
- Senior associates – Nikki Akhurst-Rasa, Melinda Andrew, Barbara Casado, Michael Dent, Kirrilee Kennedy, Amber Mahoney, Carl Newton, Jenny Nichols, Vanessa Porter and Melissa Zen.
Also included in the team will be eight lawyers and 16 law clerks, paralegals, administrative and support staff.

The new team members will be based in Hall & Wilcox’s Sydney and Newcastle offices and the majority of the team started on Tuesday 9 June 2015.
