David will be predominately based in the Melbourne office and will assist with the growth of the firm’s offering to the government sector.
In addition to his private sector experience, David has spent several years as a government lawyer, with the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office and the Australian Government Solicitor, where he conducted litigation, provided legal advice on policy matters and assisted with the implementation of major legislative reform projects.
He has also conducted various workplace relations, occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and administrative law proceedings in all relevant federal and Victorian state courts, the Fair Work Commission and state and federal administrative tribunals.
Partner and employment section leader, Karl Rozenbergs said the firm was thrilled to welcome David.
‘The addition of David to our already strong national employment team will really bolster our legal offering to the government sector. The depth of experience David brings in litigation and policy advice is a real asset to the firm’.
David said, ‘I'm really looking forward to working with the impressive partners and lawyers in Hall & Wilcox's employment team, and I'm excited about collaborating with the firm's outstanding clients and strengthening its offering to Government.'
