Experienced employment and workplace relations partner Andrew Klein is joining Hall & Wilcox in Canberra, further strengthening the firm’s national employment and Commonwealth Government practices.

Andrew brings more than 15 years’ experience advising and representing Commonwealth Government clients across employment litigation, workplace investigations and strategic workplace relations matters. He has built a strong reputation in the Canberra market and longstanding relationships across key departments and agencies.

Hall & Wilcox Chief Executive Partner Graydon Dowd said Andrew’s combination of specialist employment expertise and experience working with government would strengthen the firm’s offering to Commonwealth clients.

‘Andrew understands the particular challenges government clients face and brings the practical and client-focused approach we value at Hall & Wilcox. That experience will be an asset to clients navigating complex employment-related matters,’ he said.

‘His appointment also creates opportunities to bring together our employment expertise with the broader capabilities of our national government practice, while continuing to build our team on the ground in Canberra.’

On joining Hall & Wilcox, Andrew said:

'I am very happy and excited to be joining Hall & Wilcox and its strong, highly regarded national employment practice. I particularly look forward to contributing to the continuing growth of the firm's work with the Commonwealth Government.'

Andrew commenced with Hall & Wilcox on 6 October 2026 and is based in the firm’s Canberra office.
