Hall & Wilcox expands government practice with new partner
Hall & Wilcox has strengthened its public sector procurement and probity expertise with the appointment of Robert Watson as a partner.
Robert has over 20 years’ experience advising Commonwealth and State government agencies, including the Department of Defence, on complex procurement and probity matters. He is known for his practical, strategic advice on operationally significant procurements, including contract compliance, risk, IP, performance management and stakeholder engagement.
He has guided organisations through challenging procurements and high-risk probity issues and is a recognised thought-leader in the legal and ethical implications of artificial intelligence.
Hall & Wilcox Chief Executive Partner Graydon Dowd welcomed Robert to the firm, saying his experience and insight will be of great value to clients.
‘Robert is a highly respected adviser in the government sector. His deep expertise, particularly in procurement and emerging issues like AI, will add strength to our national practice and deliver great benefit to our clients,’ he said.
On joining Hall & Wilcox, Robert said, ‘I am excited to contribute to the firm’s growing government practice. Working alongside a national team that values collaboration, innovation and public sector impact is a great opportunity.’
