Leading national business law firm, Hall & Wilcox, is advising purchasers of Newcastle’s Icon Central on their rights.

The Icon Central development was a proposed $100 million apartment complex in Newcastle West, which has been scrapped by developer, Jemalong Property Group.

At 18 storeys and with 262 apartments, Icon Central would have been among Newcastle’s tallest buildings.

Newcastle-based Hall & Wilcox special counsel, Albert Ponte, said it was important purchasers understand their rights and fully understand what they may be entitled to before signing any deeds. “This cancellation potentially impacts all purchasers in the Icon Central development.”

“We suggest purchasers seek legal advice before making any decisions on their contracts.”

Purchasers in the Icon Central development can contact Albert Ponte on +61 2 4908 8863 for more information on how to protect their rights.
