Hall & Wilcox advises WAGO with the acquisition of The Kontact Group Pty Ltd
Hall & Wilcox is pleased to announce to have assisted WAGO GmbH & Co. KG in the successful acquisition of a majority stake in the Kontact Group Pty Ltd led by partner Oliver Jankowsky.
WAGO is a German company based in the North-Rhine-Westphalian Minden and is the developer of a world market leading spring clamp technology.
With the acquisition of the Australian Kontact Group Pty Ltd, WAGO has significantly expanded its presence in Australia. With production facilities in Domdidier (Switzerland), Noida (India), Tianjin (China) and Breslau (Poland), WAGO is represented worldwide.
Mr. Jens Adler, general counsel to the WAGO group expressed: “Mr. Jankowsky proved to be very flexible when challenging matters appeared and was quick to provide solutions and their implementation. We want to thank Mr. Jankowsky and his team for the successful completion of the transaction.”
As president of the European Business Association, which is part of the international ABIE network and consists of Australian and European business members, Oliver Jankowsky has many years of experience with business transactions between Europe and Australia.
