2026 SCG Legal Mid Year Meeting in Australia, 26-27 March
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We are excited to host you for the 2026 SCG Legal Mid-Year Meeting in Australia and look forward to welcoming you in Melbourne, Victoria.
The primary purpose is in keeping with the high standard of SCG Legal Mid-Year meetings: to hear from insightful speakers on contemporary issues, provoke discussion, and promote business opportunities as well as providing social opportunities.
We are a national firm with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Perth, Canberra, Brisbane, and Darwin. If you are travelling to other cities, our partners would love to host you. Please let us know so we can make the appropriate introduction to partners relevant to your needs.
We hope that you make time to explore our unique city and surrounding regions. With our ancient, living First Nations culture, hit the road to discover Victoria's untamed coastlines, rolling hills and valleys, wilderness filled with wildlife, rivers, and waterfalls. We also have tiny towns and bustling regional centres loaded with galleries and spa retreats too.
We are sports obsessed all year round. Melbourne is the home of Australian Rules Football – Australia's national sport – and we proudly host the world-renowned Spring Racing Carnival, Australian Open Tennis, Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, and Boxing Day Test Match.
With the aim to provide you some additional inspiration and facilitate your trip planning, we have listed a few of the most outstanding places in Victoria that are worth a visit. Each destination is directly linked to the official website of that place where you will find additional information.
Lastly, we have included a map that helps you locate the various sights so you get a feeling for distances and itineraries.
We wish you safe travels to Australia and an enjoyable stay in Melbourne.
We can’t wait to see you in person in March.
