Tess practices in the Statutory Insurance Victoria team focusing on statutory recovery for worker’s compensation claims brought pursuant to the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic).
Tess litigates matters on behalf of WorkSafe Victoria, pursuing claims for recovery from third parties and their public liability insurers. She is experienced in all stages of litigation in all Victorian Courts.
Tess prides herself on her pragmatic approach to dispute resolution, her strong negotiation skills, and her excellent stakeholder relationships.
Prior to joining Hall & Wilcox, Tess worked as a defendant lawyer in commercial litigation providing advice in relation to insurance, insolvency, and property disputes.
