Jennifer has over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has worked predominately in personal injury law and workers compensation in both private practice and in house defending claims under the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002 and the Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003.
Jennifer is an experienced litgator. She is eager to progress claims to resolution where appropriate but is also adept in progressing claims to trial where necessary.
During her time in-house, Jennifer had the opportunity to gain insight into the legal and business aspect of managing legal claims. Jennifer has drawn on this experience and knowledge to assist Hall & Wilcox provide exceptional service within client standards and to ensure claims are appropriately aligned to deliver results.
Jennifer regularly advises clients on issues of liability, quantum and proposed settlement strategies. In addition to personal injury claims, Jennifer has knowledge and experience in property damage claims, asbestos litigation and claims involving medical negligence.

- Advising self-insurers with respect to remitting litigated claims interstate under the cross vesting legislation;
- Appearing and negotiating claims including third party claims at compulsory conferences and mediations;
- Attending a common law seminar for a self-insurer client to assist them in updating their end to end claims process;
- Advising self-insurers on transferring proceedings between Regional Courts;
- Managing claims in the Federal Court Jurisdiction; and
- Managing Queensland claims lodged interstate.
