Jack is a commercial litigation lawyer with a particular focus on contractual disputes, regulatory investigations and government litigation.

Jack has acted for multiple public sector and corporate clients in high profile litigation and investigations, including in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Victorian Supreme Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Australia. He has also advised and acted for a range of clients subject to investigation and examination by ASIC, Royal Commissions and Inquiries.

Where appropriate, Jack works closely with clients to achieve practical commercial outcomes through alternative dispute resolution.

  • Acting for a State entity in relation to proceedings brought in the Supreme Court of Victoria challenging a major infrastructure project.
  • Advising a multinational telecommunications company in relation to a range of contractual disputes with service providers.
  • Acting for commercial landlords in relation to rent review disputes.
  • Acting for a large commercial law firm in response to negligence claims brought in a shareholder class action.
  • Acting for multiple large financial institutions in response to various investigations brought by ASIC.
  • Acting for a a large government department in response to the Victorian Hotel Quarantine Inquiry.
  • Acting for a gambling company in response to the NSW Casino Inquiry.
  • Acting for a multinational financial insttitution in response to the Financial Services Royal Commission.
