Eleanor has over five years’ experience acting for clients in both transactional and litigious construction, infrastructure and property matters.
She regularly acts for principals, REITs, contractors, developers, owners corporations and consultants in respect of construction and infrastructure projects across Victoria and interstate.
Eleanor’s experience includes drafting and negotiating a range of agreements, including EPC contracts, supply and installation contracts, construction contracts, consultancy agreements and other commercial contracts, advising in relation to security of payment claims, contractual claims and notices and representing clients in disputes in the VCAT, Supreme Court of Victoria and County Court of Victoria.
Experience
- Acting for AusNet Services in relation to the downstream construction and supply contracts for works connecting data centre and renewable energy projects to the transmission network.
- Acting for Victorian Government agencies including the Victorian Health Building Authority, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Barwon Health and Austin Health in preparing and negotiating construction contracts for aged care and hospital developments across Victoria.
- Preparing and negotiating construction contracts for St Vincent’s Private Hospital’s $180 million Fitzroy redevelopment project.
- Acting for developers and real estate investment trusts in preparing and negotiating construction contracts for residential and mixed used developments and private hospital projects across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
- Advising Pariter in relation to the Cumberland Country Golf Club.
- Acting for Community Housing Ltd and Tetris Capital as the successful proponents undertaking stage one of the Smith Street Build-to-Rent project in Western Australia.
- Advising APA in relation to the Viva Energy Geelong LNG import terminal and gas transmission pipeline
- Advising AusNet Services in relation to the development, ownership and operation of Glenrowan Solar Farm and Goorambat Solar Farm.
- Advising Enzen as EPC contractor and O&M services provider for the Mannum Solar Project.
- Advising AusNet Services in relation to a number of wind farm and gas pipeline projects across Victoria.
