Candice’s practice focuses on pursuing recovery claims pursuant to section 369 of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic). She predominantly acts for WorkSafe Victoria, pursuing claims for recovery from third parties and their public liability insurers.
Candice prides herself on providing a personalised approach to each matter, with great care for detail and a practical commercial focus in her advice. She is experienced in attending all Victorian courts for WorkCover administrative appearances.
Prior to joining Hall & Wilcox, Candice was employed as a plaintiff lawyer in the WorkCover statutory benefits and common law areas. This background, together with her recoveries experience, has enabled her to maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders within the WorkCover scheme.
