
Darcy started with Hall & Wilcox in 2014 and was admitted to practice in 2015. Darcy worked for two years in Accident Compensation Litigation (now SIV) before moving to London. In London, Darcy worked in-house at the energy regulator and advised on its participation in a public inquiry, and advised on regulatory amendments to the energy codes. Darcy also worked at a commercial firm advising on mass tort litigation.
On returning to Australia in 2020, Darcy worked at the Victorian Government Solicitors Office in the litigation and disputes branch. Darcy acted for government departments and statutory bodies in a range of disputes, including personal injury claims, and coronial inquests.
Darcy returned to Hall & Wilcox in 2021. Currently, Darcy acts for WorkSafe Victoria, its agents and employers in relation to common law applications and related proceedings in the County and Supreme Courts, statutory benefit proceedings, judicial reviews, and provide advice on statutory interpretation. Darcy have particular expertise and experience in mental injury claims.
