
Chelsea works in our insurance team, practising exclusively in general insurance across a broad range of litigated and non-litigated matters. She primarily defends public and product liability claims involving sensitive and high value personal injuries, and also acts in property damage, medical indemnity, and professional indemnity claims. Chelsea regularly provides advice to insurers on policy interpretation, dual insurance, and complex coverage issues.

Experience
- Represents clients across a broad range of jurisdictions including the Local, District, and Supreme Courts, Court of Appeal, NCAT, and the Personal Injury Commission.
- Defends public liability and professional indemnity claims for a diverse range of clients, including security personnel, pub and nightclub owners, retail owners, owners corporations, managing agents, home owners, pet owners, occupiers, charitable and not for profit organisations, worksites, labour hire, cleaning contractors, principal builders, construction subcontractors, and developers.
- Advises on sensitive personal injury claims involving the death of family members and catastrophic injuries.
- Acts for doctors and other health care professionals in disciplinary proceedings and medical negligence.
- Pursues recovery actions and claims, and advises insurer clients on policy interpretation, dual insurance and complex coverage issues.
