Brian has specialised in personal injury litigation generally throughout his career, with a particular focus on defendant workers compensation and employers' liability matters.

For many years Brian's speciality has been defendant-based dust diseases litigation at Supreme Court and Tribunal level. Brian heads up our Western Australia dust diseases litigation practice and, in this role, has practised in superior courts in all Australian States.

For around the last five years Brian has been recognised as Western Australia’s pre-eminent dust diseases lawyer by the Doyle's Guide to the Australian legal profession.
