New appointment expands Hall & Wilcox’s national Employment practice

We have expanded our national Employment practice with the appointment of Special Counsel David Catanese.

 

Leading independent business law firm Hall & Wilcox has expanded its national Employment practice with the appointment of Special Counsel David Catanese, who joined the firm on 1 October.

David will be predominately based in the Melbourne office and will assist with the growth of the firm’s offering to the government sector.

In addition to his private sector experience, David has spent several years as a government lawyer, with the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office and the Australian Government Solicitor, where he conducted litigation, provided legal advice on policy matters and assisted with the implementation of major legislative reform projects.

He has also conducted various workplace relations, occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and administrative law proceedings in all relevant federal and Victorian state courts, the Fair Work Commission and state and federal administrative tribunals.

Partner and employment section leader, Karl Rozenbergs said the firm was thrilled to welcome David.
