Hall & Wilcox unveils 2026 cohort for Frank Lab startup accelerator

News5 May 2026

Eight high-growth startups have been selected to join Hall & Wilcox’s Frank Lab startup accelerator for 2026, as founders increasingly seek practical, end-to-end support to scale in a more complex and fast-moving business environment.

This year’s cohort brings together founders tackling some of the most pressing commercial and societal challenges – from energy transition and financial verification to AI-driven decision-making and the future of work. What connects them is a clear ambition to grow quickly, responsibly and with the right foundations in place.

The Frank Lab 2026 participants will attend a two-day intensive in Sydney this May, followed by a support package focused on turning strategy into action.

The Frank Lab 2026 cohort includes:

  • Bigger Energizer – developing high-performance electric vehicle battery technology to support the shift to sustainable transport energy solutions.
  • Bosely AI – helping organisations navigate AI adoption responsibly through advisory, compliance and workforce intelligence solutions.
  • Flipped Energy Australia delivering a transparent energy retail platform offering wholesale pricing, no-lock-in contracts and real-time usage insights for households and businesses.
  • MyGigsters building payment infrastructure tailored to gig economy platforms, improving efficiency, compliance and transparency for businesses and workers.
  • mynd app  offering a digital platform focused on mental health and wellbeing, connecting users with tools and support tailored to modern lifestyles.
  • Raffy – providing digital tools to support individuals and families managing food allergies, improving safety, awareness and everyday decision-making.
  • Square by Square – unlocking new pathways to property ownership through a shared equity model designed to make home ownership more accessible.
  • Verifiabl – enabling secure, real-time, source-verified access to income and employment data to streamline financial decision making and reduce fraud risk.

Since 2019, Frank Lab has supported founders to move faster on the decisions that matter. Partner and Frank Lab Co-Lead Jacqui Barrett said this year’s cohort reflects the increasing sophistication of Australia’s startup ecosystem.

‘Founders are today scaling in more complex environments, whether that’s evolving regulation, new technologies or changing investor expectations,’ Jacqui said.

‘What stands out about this cohort is their focus on building sustainable, scalable businesses from day one. Frank Lab is about giving them clarity and practical support to do that by connecting legal strategy with commercial outcomes.’

Participants will receive tailored legal and commercial guidance, introductions to investors and advisors and ongoing support to implement their growth strategies. The program is designed not just to accelerate businesses, but to support founders as they navigate the demands of building and scaling.

The Hall & Wilcox Frank Lab team look forward to working closely with the 2026 cohort and supporting their next phase of growth.
