Hall & Wilcox Newcastle recognised for Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion
Hall & Wilcox Newcastle office has been recognised for its commitment to building an inclusive workplace, winning the Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award at the 2026 Business Hunter Awards.
The award recognises organisations creating workplaces where different perspectives, experiences and backgrounds are valued, and where people are supported to thrive.
For Hall & Wilcox inclusion is an important part of building high-performing teams and delivering better outcomes for our clients and communities. By creating an environment where our people feel respected, supported and able to contribute, we bring together different perspectives and ideas and create opportunities for our people to grow.
This recognition reflects the culture fostered by not only our Newcastle team, but our teams nationally and their commitment to creating an inclusive workplace, supporting professional development and contributing to the broader Hunter community.
Newcastle office partner in charge Suzie Leask said the award was particularly meaningful because it recognised the contribution people make to the firm’s culture every day.
‘This recognition belongs to our people. Creating an inclusive workplace isn’t about any one initiative - it’s about how we work together every day, the opportunities we create for each other and making sure people feel valued and able to contribute.’
‘We’re incredibly proud of the culture we’ve built in Newcastle and our offices nationally, and the role our people play in making Hall & Wilcox a place where different perspectives are welcomed and people have the opportunity to thrive.’
The award was presented at the Business Hunter Awards, which recognise outstanding businesses and organisations across the Hunter region.
Hall & Wilcox congratulates all finalists and winners and thanks Business Hunter and award sponsor Mai-Wel Limited for recognising the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
