Hall & Wilcox broadens financial and specialty lines practice with appointment of new Melbourne partner
Hall & Wilcox will expand its national financial and speciality lines insurance practice with the appointment of experienced insurance lawyer David Chew as a new partner.
Based in Melbourne, David will help further grow the Victorian, and associated Tasmanian and South Australian, arms of the firm’s national practice in these areas.
David specialises in professional indemnity and directors and officers liability dispute resolution and advisory services for both insurers and corporate clients. He acts for private and publicly listed companies, corporate trustees and a range of professionals across industries including financial services, insurance, legal, construction, public sector and media and technology industries.
Managing Partner Tony Macvean said David’s appointment would add further depth to the firm’s market-leading insurance practice, and particularly its financial lines offering.
