Hall & Wilcox announces three new senior appointments

 

Leading independent business law firm Hall & Wilcox is delighted to announce three new senior appointments, effective 1 January 2021.

Jessica Cheo and Hamish McNair have been promoted as special counsel, while Andrew Giorgi has been promoted to senior associate.

The three appointments follow the firm’s record promotion of 34 partners, special counsel and senior associates in June 2020.

Jessica Cheo (special counsel) practices in statutory insurance, based in Melbourne. She concentrates on personal injury litigation management and has a particular interest in the area of statutory benefits. She has acted for WorkSafe Victoria and its predecessors for a number of years.

Hamish McNair (special counsel) is a commercial dispute resolution lawyer, based in Melbourne. He has broad commercial litigation experience with a particular focus on defamation, financial services disputes and claims involving complex trust structures.

Andrew Giorgi (senior associate) is a commercial disputes lawyer, based in Perth. He advises individuals, small businesses, insolvency practitioners, government agencies and insurers on a range of tax, commercial and insolvency matters.
