Hall & Wilcox advises Scentre Group and Barrenjoey Private Capital on establishment of West Lakes Opportunity Trust
Hall & Wilcox has advised Scentre Group and Barrenjoey Private Capital on the successful launch of a new private fund, the West Lakes Opportunity Trust, as well as the acquisition of a 50% interest in Westfield West Lakes shopping centre in Adelaide for $174.8 million, jointly managed by Scentre Group (owner of Westfield destinations in Australia and New Zealand) and Barrenjoey Private Capital.
The cross-practice Hall & Wilcox team included consultant John Hutchinson, who worked with partner Vanessa Murphy and associate Caitlin Byrne from the corporate/funds team; partners Jane Baddeley and Mark Lyons, senior associate Matt Dolan and associate Mark Adams from the real estate team; and partner Anthony Bradica and senior associate Bradley White from the tax team.
