Hall & Wilcox advises on sale of recruitment software company Onboarded
Hall & Wilcox has advised Onboarded Pty Ltd, an Australia-based technology provider of recruitment onboarding software, on its sale to UK-based provider The Access Group.
The Access Group provides business management software to mid-market organisations in the UK, Ireland, US and Asia Pacific. As part of the sale, The Access Group will also acquire Onboarded’s sister company, smartAI Pty Ltd, a personalised conversation platform for recruiters.
Partner Nicole Tumiati led the Hall & Wilcox team, supported by Partner Ben Hamilton, Special Counsel Piers Mitchem and Associate Daniel Shizas. The cross-practice Hall & Wilcox team assisted with M&A, intellectual property and employment law aspects of the transaction.
Nicole Tumiati said, ‘We are absolutely delighted to have worked with the shareholders in Onboarded and smartAI on this great transaction.’
Onboarded and smartAI founder Raj Soni said, ‘It was amazing to work with Nicole and the team from Hall and Wilcox. As a tech founder, I found myself in the midst of an M&A process that was completely foreign to me. Having Nicole and the team to lean on and be guided through the process was priceless.’
