Hall & Wilcox advises Keg Services on sale of all shares to Konvoy
Hall & Wilcox has advised Keg Services Pty Limited on the sale of all the company’s shares to Konvoy Holdings Pty Ltd.
Keg Services is a world leader in the specialised repair and maintenance of stainless steel beer kegs. Konvoy is the fastest growing provider of keg rental services in Australia and New Zealand. Harnessing the extensive knowledge and experience of the Keg Services team will enable Konvoy to provide a keg servicing and sales operation across the region.
Hall & Wilcox advised Keg Services on all legal aspects of the share sale, including negotiating the share sale agreement and achieving successful completion of the transaction.
Corporate & Commercial Partner Oliver Jankowsky led the Hall & Wilcox team with Lawyer Jasmine Koh. Partner Deborah Chew and Lawyer Tamara Charlwood also assisted with the deal, which included cross-practice collaboration of various groups.
Oliver Jankowsky said, ‘This was a fast-paced deal, in which we had to align multiple stakeholders. All parties had to conduct the deal in a completely virtual manner during Melbourne’s Stage 4 lockdown.’
Phil Meddings, Keg Services Founder and newly appointed board member of Konvoy, said, ‘Oliver, Jasmine and the Hall & Wilcox team provided highly commercial advice throughout the deal process. They were thorough, efficient and completely responsive to the needs and timelines that had to be met to get this done.’
Hall & Wilcox has a strong capital markets and M&A practice, with extensive experience in high-profile capital raising and capital management transactions.
