Hall & Wilcox advises Austria’s Knill Gruppe on local acquisition
Leading independent Australian business law firm, Hall & Wilcox, has facilitated a crossborder acquisition between an Austrian energy company and a local electrical equipment provider.
The deal saw Austria’s 300-year old Knill Gruppe, a large energy and technology firm, purchase Victoria’s Graph Solutions, which distributes electronic equipment such as insulators for power lines.
Hall & Wilcox’s Special Counsel, Oliver Jankowsky and Lawyer, Mark Lebbon leveraged their knowledge of cross border transactions between Europe and Australia to manage various key stakeholders in different locations and time zones.

Mr Jankowsky works closely with the European business community as President of European Business, part of the international ABIE Network. The organisation has around 1,500 members drawn from Australian companies with business interests and connections in Europe, and a wide range of European companies with reciprocal interests in Australia.
