All states except WA (internal and external practitioners) for non-LD organised events

If this particular educational activity is relevant to your immediate or long term needs in relation to your professional development and practice of the law, then you should claim 0.5 CPD units for each complete 30 minutes of attendance (refreshment breaks not included).

If the activity qualifies for CPD points, the category will be stated on the invitation in the event details section. You need to keep a record of your attendance.

For WA non-HW practitioners for non-LD organised events

As an approved QA CPD provider in WA, educational events we deliver may be eligible for CPD. If you think this particular activity contributes to your ongoing professional development, and you would like it to be included in your CPD record, the LPBWA requires us to record the following specific personal data to upload to the Board’s CPDMS.

  • Practitioner ID   
  • First name        
  • Surname
  • Firm      

You must sign-in (and out if leaving early) on the hard copy attendance form, register for the webinar with these details, or provide them to the organiser. Once attendance is confirmed, you will be allocated 0.5 CPD units for each complete 30 minutes of attendance (refreshment breaks not included).

For WA HW practitioners for non-LD organised events

As an approved QA CPD provider in WA, educational events we deliver may be eligible for CPD. If you think this particular activity contributes to your ongoing professional development, and you would like it to be included in your CPD record, please record the activity in the Learning Hub. The L&D team will upload your records to the Board’s CPDMS each month.
