Raelene has over 30 years’ experience in advising clients in relation to the registration, exploitation and protection of their intellectual property, with particular expertise in registered designs and trade marks.
Raelene has assisted many large Australian corporations, and multinationals, including The Coca-Cola Company, Avon LLC, Revlon Inc, General Motors Corporation and The Procter & Gamble Company, to protect and increase the value of their key intangible assets.
Raelene has managed the intellectual property portfolios for variety of clients including many well-known brands for over 30 years, and is currently studying a Master of Law degree in Intellectual Property at the University of Melbourne.
- Advising a leading Australian bank in its implementation of a global trade mark protection program when it rebranded several product lines in 2009, which included approximately 10 marks in approximately 7 classes over approximately 50 countries.
- Advising a large Australian engineering firm in relation to the protection of its global trade mark portfolio.
- Advising a large multinational beverage company with the registration of its Australian trade mark portfolio.
- Assisting a large Australian transport company in the global commercialisation of its 300 registered patents, design and trade marks.

The Copyright Amendment (Online Infringement) Act 2018 (Act) which passed both Houses of Parliament on 28 November 2018, and is due to commence the day after it receives Royal Assent, amends section 115A of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
