Practices

Stephanie advises WorkSafe Victoria and its registered agents about strategies to defend and resolve workers’ claims for compensation.

Her practice includes acting on common law files, judicial review files, statutory benefits files andappeal matters. Stephanie also undertakes work on behalf of public sector clients involving sentitive litigation pursuant to the Wrongs Act 1958 (Vic).

Stephanie is very passionate about supporting the community and has been a regular  volunteer solicitor at Refugee Legal, assisting clients to prepare visa applications, draft statements to support visa applications, prepare clients for interviews with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection and prepare statements responding to refusal of visa decisions and draft legal submissions to the Immigration Assessment Authority.

  • Obtained a serious injury withdrawal after making strong submissions about credit, range and causation.
  • Successfully defended an appeal Successful conduct of originating motions in the County Court.
