Leading independent business law firm Hall & Wilcox has acted on behalf of ASX-listed property valuer LandMark White in its acquisition of private NSW and Queensland valuer Taylor Byrne.
The acquisition further cements LandMark White’s position as the largest ASX-listed property valuation services business in Australia.
LandMark White paid Taylor Byrne shareholders $5.15 million in cash and 8.58 million shares in the company at a deemed issue price of 60 cents each.
Hall & Wilcox assisted LandMark White with all aspects of the transaction, including due diligence and advice on, and negotiation of, all transaction documents.
Partner Jacqui Barrett, who worked on the deal with Special Counsel Jonathon Wood and Lawyer Paul Simos, said the transaction represented a significant investment for LandMark White.
The deal completed on 15 October 2018.
