Hall & Wilcox adds new partner to Sydney financial services team

 

Leading independent business law firm, Hall & Wilcox, has added experienced superannuation practitioner, Anne MacNamara, as a partner in its financial services practice. Anne will be based in the firm’s Sydney office.

Anne has worked extensively in superannuation and financial services law, and joins from Holding Redlich. Anne was previously a partner at Henry Davis York, and has experience in-house with superannuation consultancy Mercer including a stint as Head of Legal.

Anne’s expertise covers a broad range of superannuation work, including advice on regulatory reforms, and how they impact superannuation fund product offerings, licensing, disclosure, fee arrangements and outsourcing arrangements.

Anne commented that “Hall & Wilcox has a strong focus on innovation and co-creating the future with its clients, and I am excited about being part of this focus.”

In relation to the firm’s strength in the financial services sector, Anne commented that she is “looking forward to working with Hall & Wilcox’s award-winning team to further grow our market share in my specialist area, superannuation.
